AXIOM WINS AAF DISTRICT 10 AND HEADS TO NATIONALS Houston, TX (May 8, 2008) — For the fourth consecutive year, Axiom's wins at the local and regional level of the American Advertising Federation (AAF) ADDY Awards have qualified the hybrid advertising and marketing communications firm to compete at the national level. Axiom has two screen-based projects accepted in the national review of best-in-breed advertising. The first project, a Call-to-Entries Animated Email, was developed as part of the integrated campaign Axiom created for the 45th Houston Advertising Federation (HAF) ADDY Awards Program, which the agency themed "Are You A Creative Master?" The second recognized entry, the Schkainah Natural Land Preserves business-to-consumer hospitality website, was created as a highly conceptual storefront utilizing custom watercolors to highlight various amenities and features of the private community. The site was divided into four sections, each with its own hero illustration, inviting visitors to "Imagine," "Play," "Stay" and "Unwind." In previous years, Axiom has garnered Gold and Silver ADDYs at the local and district level for branding, advertising, interactive and direct mail campaigns developed for their clients, Cameron (NYSE: CAM) and ION (NYSE:IO), which have led the way to the national competition. "Having visionary clients who keep the bar high enables Axiom to create concepts and campaigns that consistently bring us industry recognition," said Tom Hair, president of Axiom. "Even more rewarding than accolades is our clients' recognition of the value of our work, and our role in driving their positioning and growth objectives." About Axiom About AAF |
